Forever Angel
There's an Angel who watches over me.
It's my own sweet Angel baby.
He watches over me during the day.
Keeping me safe & out of harm's way.
Helping me see the good in life.
To try to be the best Mother & Wife.
The soft brush of an Angel wing.
I feel him sometimes & it's so comforting.
He watches over me during the night.
As soon as i switch off the light.
I feel him there sat on my bed.
Whilst i lay down my weary head.
Sometimes he play's with my hair.
Letting me know he is there.
He helps me face each new morn.
Since the day my Angel was born.
Thank you for seeing me through each day.
There's so much more i want to say...
But you know what's in my Heart sweet one.
Coz you reside there & that's where you belong.
You'll never leave me or ever stray.
Coz you're MY Angel & with me Forever you'll stay.

A friend who's always there.
Always here for you both. Having some one who shares your pain & grief who then truly understands how you feel does help even if just a little. As the anniversary/birthday of little Max is so near now i wanted to let you know i'm here...& i 'know' therefore i feel your pain still so very raw. The 1st year IS the hardest. You will never ever forget but you do learn to live with it & move forward. Some day this will make sense.

'What Makes a Mother'

I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today.
I asked what makes a Mother
And I know I heard him say...
A mother has a baby
This we know is true.
But, God, can you be a mother
when your baby is not with you?
Yes, you can He replied,
With confidence in His voice.
I give many women babies
When they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime,
And others just for a day.
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay.
I just don't understand this God,
I want my baby here.
He took a breath and cleared His throat
And then I saw a tear.
I wish I could show you
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child smile
With other children and say:
'We go to earth to learn our lessons
Of love and life and fear.
My mommy loved me oh so much
I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a mom
Who has so much love for me.
I learned my lessons very quickly,
My mommy set me free.
I miss my mommy Oh so much,
But I visit every day.
When she goes to sleep
On her pillow is where I lay.
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek
And I whisper in her ear.
Mommy don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I'm here.'
So, you see my dear sweet one,
Your children are not blue.
Your babies are here in MY home,
They'll be at Heaven's gate waiting for you.
So now you see what makes a mother,
It's the feeling in your heart.
It's the love you had so much of,
Right from the very start.
Though some on earth may not realize you are a mother,
Until their time is done.
They'll be up here with Me one day,
And they'll know you were the best one!
